Hospital Kuala Lumpur Multi-Storey Carpark (HKLMSCP) project for MRT Corps

Produced tender documents for M&E Services (Environmental Control System, Fire Protection Services, Electrical and Mechanical Work Services). Dealt with contractors and suppliers for RFQ to ensure their technical and financial capacity comply all the requirements stated inside the tender. Conducted vendor/contractors assessment for major contractors and suppliers company prior to registering them as our partner vendor/contractors.

Belfield Tunnel Project (M&E Infrastructure)

Assess the capability of sub-contractors on carrying out M&E works prior to invitation to tender. Ensuring all the contractors able to cope with the requirement of the project.

Cost Data

Extracted and analyzed cost data from Gamuda IBS 2 factory, Serai RSKU and PDP MRT-SSP Line project in order to produce commercial comparison between projects.

Tunnel Engineer

Experienced in site and progress management from plant foundation settings, tunnel boring machine (TBM) installation and launching, to the maintenance of the machine throughout Bandar Malaysia North - Chan Sow Lin drive.

Experienced on solving issues regarding the piping system of the machine where blockages were found on several spots. Rectified them by first closing each connecting valves and test the flow by monitoring through the pressure valve for pressure spikes. All major pressure spikes were suspected to be the cause of blockages. Technicians and the team had them dismantled and cleared the blockages.

Certified and experienced lifting supervisor, managed various lifting from complex, tandem, night lift ranging from the minimum weight up to approximately 400 tonnes of materials. Handled both mobile, crawler and tower crane.

Mechanical Engineer (Intern)

As a mechanical engineering intern, I've been working together with multidisciplinary engineers to work on a particular situation. The company is one of the largest cement manufacturers in Malaysia. Hence, exceptional design and maintenance are required to maintain the quality of the cement production.

It was a huge learning process for me as a first timer working in the industry and dealing with multi-disciplinary departments to tackle different issues of the company ranging from procurement managements to heavy engineering works within the site.

Here are my responsibilities during my summer internship:
• Learnt to design equipment using AutoCAD drawings that need to be manufactured in-house.
• Responsible on doing technical job such as repairing conveyor belts, bearing replacements, shaft cleaning.
• Monitor and check on the working progress of the technicians on maintenance and installation works.
• Doing inventory check for the maintenance equipment and dealing with the procurement.
• Daily on-site inspections to check for any equipment failures or require maintenance.

Currently working with Gamuda M&E Sdn. Bhd. as M&E Engineer with Contracts and Commercials department. Excel in leadership roles backed by strong technical skills gained from previous experience working closely with the Tunnel Boring Machine.
